Version:
Mirka® Galaxy, the new innovative grinding media combines effectiveness with a long working life without clogging, thanks to a new self-sharpening ceramic grit and its MultiFit holes. The blue ceramic grit remains sharp, as it breaks due to its own structure during application and thus has a self-sharpening effect. Mirka® Galaxy uses the new Mirka MultiFit concept – the optimum hole placement allows the grinding media to be used as required on any machine without the need for a special alignment. The MultiFit hole pattern creates the perfect balance between long service life and dust extraction. The Mirka® Galaxy range is based on the backing material of polyester film with coating and is available in the complete grit range from coarse 40 grit to fine 2,000 grit. Mirka® Galaxy is the ideal all-rounder product and can be used on both soft and hard surfaces.
With stable film backing. Dust-repellent coating prevents premature clogging.
Advantage:
- Long working life without clogging, dust-repellent, low wear of the ceramic grit.
- Self-sharpening effect due to automatic breaking of its structure – creates new edges.
- Mirka® Galaxy uses the new Multifit hole pattern and thus achieves the perfect balance of long service life and dust extraction.
- Longer working life due to a non-stick coating which optimally repels dust. With this coating, the dust does not remain on the grinding media and thus, together with the Multifit hole pattern, ensures improved dust extraction.
- More uniform surface finish due to outstanding grit wear.
- Improved tear resistance when the edges are stressed.
