Description:
- Internal clamping screw made from stainless steel (1.4301/1.4305).
- Innovative solution for quick and easy securing of cylindrical components (e.g. dial indicators, round bars or pipes).
- Such components can easily be clamped or released by tightening or relaxing the internal clamping screw.
- The overhang length of components clamped in the cylindrical bore of the internal clamping screw can be varied steplessly.
Function:
The internal clamping screw is screwed into any fixture using a simple metric thread, until the head of the internal clamping screw rests on the flat face of the fixture. If the screw is now tightened a little further, the thread of the internal clamping screw moves radially relative to the thread in the fixture. Because of the special design of the internal clamping screw, this movement is only slight and is fully reversible. This slight movement suffices to reduce the diameter of the internal clamping screw bore sufficiently for the components lying within it to be evenly and centrally clamped. The diameter of the internal clamping screw and also the pressure arising can be specified for design purposes. The resulting grip can withstand tensile forces up to 2000 N.
Application:
- Metrology: quick and easy clamping of dial indicators in measuring devices.
- Machine building: means of clamping cylindrical objects.
- Sensor systems: attachment to flat surfaces.
Supplied with:
Pack consisting of 5 clamping screws.
