Order RFID Chips

You need an RFID chip for each tool holder and accessories that you want to identify or locate later. You also need an RFID chip for every possible location (machine, storage location, box, tool trolley, drawer, etc.). By scanning the corresponding RFID chips, you can then digitally document the location of each complete tool or accessory and can thus be retrieved at any time.

Alternatively, you can also work with a QR code. For this purpose, QR code stickers are procured and attached to the storage location or to the base holder. The data is then read out via a barcode or QR code reader that supports the QR code function.

RFID readers and recommended end devices

To scan the RFID chips you need a so-called RFID reader. This RFID Reader Pen can be connected to a desktop or mobile device via USB and has a USB 2.0 port.

  Optimal for stations with many link processes - e.g. presetting device, as there is no need for an additional pin.
