Description:
In order to fulfil the particular requirements for working with stainless steel (INOX), PFERD uses wire quality 1.4310 (V2A) for all INOX brushes. Practical experience from industry has shown that this offers very good corrosion resistance with an optimum tool life. All PFERD brushes with INOX filaments are colour-coded in blue and are suitable for use on all stainless steels (INOX), such as V4A. The wire quality 1.4310 tends to become ferromagnetic in the case of cold working; i.e. it can be attracted using magnets.;The reason for this is a change in the microstructure caused by deformation (e.g. during the wire drawing process). This does not have any impact on the quality and corrosion resistance of the INOX filament. The filament is still resistant to corrosion. Stainless steel wire (INOX) withstands temperatures up to 450 °C. Very aggressive brush. Suitable for heavy-duty brushing in metalwork such as descaling, derusting, deburring, cleaning of weld seams and removal of adhesive residues and spatter.
Feature:
- Number, knots: 24 Stück
- RPM, max.: 12500 RPM
- RPM, optimum, from: 5000 RPM
- RPM, optimum, to: 12500 RPM
- Width, metric: 12 mm
- Mounting system: Centre hole
- Dia. hole: 22.2 mm
- Dia. filament material: 0.35 mm
- Dia. external, metric: 115 mm
- Filament material: Stainless steel wire (INOX)
- Length, filament: 22 mm
Advantage:
- The brush is degreased and does not leave any oil residue on the workpiece.
- Maximum economic efficiency due to maximum tool life and stock removal rate.
- High level of comfort thanks to smooth running with no brush recoiling.
- Suitable for work on corners and edges as the knots are less likely to unravel.
- Aggressive brushing effect due to the very stiff wire knots.
Application:
- Recommendations for use: Please observe the recommended rotational speeds. For optimum results, use on powerful angle grinders.
