Description:
For general grinding work from fine to very fine grinding on materials which do not conduct heat well, e.g. stainless steel (INOX). Active grinding additives in the coating substantially improve the stock removal rate, prevent clogging and result in cooler grinding. Short belts are compatible with commonly available belt grinders. In ISO 2976, they are listed under the designation ″abrasive belts″.
Feature:
- Width, metric: 50 mm
- Abrasive: A-COOL
- Length, metric: 450 mm
- Acc. to ISO: ISO 2976
- Grit size: 80
Advantage:
- High tear strength with optimum flexibility.
- Consistent results through very good grain adhesion.
- High economic efficiency due to high abrasive performance and long tool life.
Application:
- Recommendations for use: Use grinding oil that is suitable for the material in order to significantly increase the tool life and the abrasive performance of the tools.
- Applications: Deburring; Step-by-step fine grinding; Leveling; Sharpening; Work on weld seams; Working on edges
- Drive types: Belt grinders and belt arms
Material:
- Materials that can be worked:
- Aluminium
- Annealed cast iron
- Brass
