Description

Description:

Set 1807 STEEL contains three tungsten carbide burrs for processing steel and cast steel in the most common shapes and dimensions. The sturdy plastic box protects the tools against dirt and damage.

Feature:

  • PFERD type: 1807 STEEL
  • Cut: STEEL
  • Dia. shank, metric: 6 mm

Advantage:

  • Up to 50 % higher stock removal rate when used on steel and cast steel in comparison to conventional cross-cut burrs.
  • Tangibly more aggressive, large chips and very good chip removal through the innovative tooth geometry.
  • Workpieces are protected through significantly lower thermal load.
  • The highly accurate concentricity enables impactfree working without creating chatter marks and the drive is subject to less wear.

Application:

  • Recommendations for use: To prevent vibrations, place the tools on powerful drives with an elastically supported spindle wherever possible. Observe the recommended rotational speeds.
  • Applications: Cutting out holes; Deburring; Leveling; Milling; Milling out; Surface work; Work on weld seams
  • Drive types: Flexible shaft drive; Tool machine; Robot; Stationary machines; Straight grinder

Material:

  • Materials that can be worked:
    • Case-hardened steels
    • Cast iron
    • Cast steel
    • Hardened, heat-treated steels over 1.200 N/mm² (< 38 HRC)
    • Steel, cast steel
    • Steel materials with a hardness > 54 HRC
    • Steels up to 1,200 N/mm² (< 38 HRC)
    • Steels over 700 N/mm² (> 220 HB)
    • Steels up to 700 N/mm² (< 220 HB)
