    Description

    Version:

    • HSSE UGT

    Description:

Conical countersinks from PFERD are characterized by their particularly sharp blades that are able to achieve very good results, even at low cutting speeds. High-performance tools with a countersink angle of 90° for countersinking 90° screws for particularly tough and hard materials such as alloyed and high-strength steel and stainless steel (INOX). Conical countersinks with unequal pitch (UGT) are characterized by a specially developed geometry with wide flutes, which enables optimal chip removal and heat dissipation, smooth running and optimum results. Long tool life and temperature-resistant version due to Co content.

    Feature:

    • RPM from, grey cast iron, white cast iron: 100 RPM
    • RPM from, hard non-ferrous metals: 100 RPM
    • RPM from, rust and acid-resistant steels: 100 RPM
    • RPM from, soft non-ferrous metals: 150 RPM
    • RPM from, steels over 700 N/mm²: 100 RPM
    • RPM from, steels up to 700 N/mm²: 150 RPM
    • RPM from, thermoplastics, fibre-reinforced plastics (GRP/CRP): 100 RPM
    • RPM to, grey cast iron, white cast iron: 100 RPM
    • RPM to, hard non-ferrous metals: 200 RPM
    • RPM to, rust and acid-resistant steels: 150 RPM
    • RPM to, soft non-ferrous metals: 200 RPM
    • RPM to, steels over 700 N/mm²: 150 RPM
    • RPM to, steels up to 700 N/mm²: 200 RPM
    • RPM to, thermoplastics, fibre-reinforced plastics (GRP/CRP): 150 RPM
    • Version: HSSE UGT
    • Diameter: 31 mm
    • Dia. shank, metric: 12 mm
    • Angle: 90 °
    • Length, total: 71 mm

    Advantage:

    • Smooth running.
    • Low countersinking force and a good surface quality.
    • Specially developed geometry with wide flutes for optimal chip removal and heat dissipation.
    • Very high stock removal rate and optimum chip removal.
    • Burr-free results even at low cutting speeds.

    Application:

    • Recommendations for use: Use cutting oil or compressed air as a coolant/lubricant. Particularly well suited to producing exact countersinks.
