Description

Version:

  • HSS UGT

Description:

Conical countersinks from PFERD are characterized by their particularly sharp blades that are able to achieve very good results, even at low cutting speeds. High-performance tools with a countersink angle of 90° for countersinking 90° screws for all common materials such as steel, cast steel and non-ferrous metals. Conical countersinks with unequal pitch (UGT) are characterized by a specially developed geometry with wide flutes, which enables optimal chip removal and heat dissipation, smooth running and optimum results.

Feature:

  • RPM from, grey cast iron, white cast iron: 170 RPM
  • RPM from, rust and acid-resistant steels: 170 RPM
  • RPM from, soft non-ferrous metals: 260 RPM
  • RPM from, steels up to 700 N/mm²: 260 RPM
  • RPM from, thermoplastics, fibre-reinforced plastics (GRP/CRP): 170 RPM
  • RPM to, grey cast iron, white cast iron: 170 RPM
  • RPM to, rust and acid-resistant steels: 260 RPM
  • RPM to, soft non-ferrous metals: 340 RPM
  • RPM to, steels up to 700 N/mm²: 340 RPM
  • RPM to, thermoplastics, fibre-reinforced plastics (GRP/CRP): 260 RPM
  • Version: HSS UGT
  • Diameter: 19 mm
  • Dia. shank, metric: 10 mm
  • Angle: 90 °
  • Length, total: 63 mm

Advantage:

  • Smooth running.
  • Low countersinking force and a good surface quality.
  • Specially developed geometry with wide flutes for optimal chip removal and heat dissipation.
  • Very high stock removal rate and optimum chip removal.
  • Burr-free results even at low cutting speeds.

Application:

  • Recommendations for use: Use cutting oil or compressed air as a coolant/lubricant. Particularly well suited to producing exact countersinks.
  • Applications: Countersinking
  • Drive types: Column drill; Tool machine; Power drill; Robot; Stationary machines
