Description

Description:

High-performance cut INOX with HICOAT coating HC-FEP is characterized by its high degree of hardness and wear resistance. It enables effective chip removal through improved anti-adhesion characteristics and is highly temperature-resistant. It allows for a longer tool life and use at higher cutting speeds in comparison with uncoated burrs. Tree-shaped burr with radius end according to DIN 8032.

Feature:

  • Radius corner design: 2.5 mm
  • RPM from, hard non-ferrous metals: 8000 RPM
  • RPM from, rust and acid-resistant steels: 14000 RPM
  • RPM from, soft non-ferrous metals: 8000 RPM
  • RPM to, hard non-ferrous metals: 19000 RPM
  • RPM to, rust and acid-resistant steels: 24000 RPM
  • RPM to, soft non-ferrous metals: 19000 RPM
  • Cut: INOX HC-FEP
  • Dia. external, metric: 10 mm
  • Dia. shank, metric: 6 mm
  • Length, cut: 20 mm
  • Length, total: 60 mm

Advantage:

  • The highly accurate concentricity enables impactfree working without creating chatter marks. This considerably reduces wear on the tool and tool drive.

Application:

  • Recommendations for use: If the smallest area of the burr diameter is being used, the recommended rotational speed can be increased accordingly. To ensure costeffective use of burrs, use a higher rotational speed and cutting speed. Use burrs with a shank diameter of 6 mm with drives with a power output from 300 watts.
  • Applications: Cutting out holes; Deburring; Leveling; Milling; Milling out; Surface work; Work on weld seams
  • Drive types: Flexible shaft drive; Tool machine; Robot; Stationary machines; Straight grinder

Material:

  • Materials that can be worked:
    • Hard non-ferrous metal
    • Stainless steel (INOX)
    • Titanium
    • Titanium alloys
    • Materials that can be worked: Hard non-ferrous metal; Stainless steel (INOX); Titanium; Titanium alloys

Note:

  • The very high stock removal rate can cause discolouration on the shank. This does not constitute a safety risk.
