Description

Version:

  • INOX

Description:

Drilling tools with cross grinding for industrial uses. Fully ground, right-hand turning versions that produce precise drill holes thanks to their high concentricity and exact centring. PFERD offers spiral drills in the STEEL (118 ° point angle) and INOX (135 ° point angle) versions. High-performance drilling tools in the INOX in HSSE-Co5 (M35) version for industrial uses. Fully ground right-hand turning version with cross grinding that produces precise drill holes thanks to their high concentricity and exact centring.

Feature:

  • RPM from, grey cast iron, white cast iron: 335 RPM
  • RPM from, hard non-ferrous metals: 838 RPM
  • RPM from, rust and acid-resistant steels: 335 RPM
  • RPM from, soft non-ferrous metals: 1006 RPM
  • RPM from, steels over 700 N/mm²: 670 RPM
  • RPM from, thermoplastics, fibre-reinforced plastics (GRP/CRP): 503 RPM
  • RPM to, grey cast iron, white cast iron: 838 RPM
  • RPM to, hard non-ferrous metals: 1676 RPM
  • RPM to, rust and acid-resistant steels: 670 RPM
  • RPM to, soft non-ferrous metals: 2011 RPM
  • RPM to, steels over 700 N/mm²: 838 RPM
  • RPM to, thermoplastics, fibre-reinforced plastics (GRP/CRP): 1341 RPM
  • Version: INOX
  • Diameter: 9.5 mm
  • Spiral angle, from: 36 °
  • Angle: 135 °
  • Flute length: 81 mm
  • Length, total: 125 mm

Advantage:

  • Particularly well suited for tough and hard materials, such as alloyed and high-strength steel, stainless steel (INOX).
  • Robust tip profile.
  • Very long tool life.
  • Very good temperature resistance due to Co content.
  • Very good chip removal.

Application:

  • Recommendations for use: Observe the recommended rotational speeds. When drilling metals, use a high-quality cutting oil or cooling lubricant, if possible. This facilitates smooth running and extends the drill tool life. Exception: when working on aluminium, use kerosene instead of cutting oil. When working on stainless steel (INOX), remove any particles that break away from the workpiece in order to avoid corrosion. Clean the workpiece chemically or mechanically (etching/polishing, etc.).
  • Applications: Drilling
  • Drive types: Column drill; Tool machine; Power drill; Robot; Stationary machines
