Description

Description:

Cut 1 is especially well suited for machining of stainless steel (INOX), soft non-ferrous metals and plastics. It is used in a rotational speed range of 1,200 to 23,900 RPM, depending on the burr diameter. Conical pointed burr, flattened tip.

Feature:

  • RPM from, rust and acid-resistant steels: 2000 RPM
  • RPM from, soft non-ferrous metals: 6400 RPM
  • RPM from, thermoplastics, fibre-reinforced plastics (GRP/CRP) with a fibre content under 40 %: 6400 RPM
  • RPM to, rust and acid-resistant steels: 2600 RPM
  • RPM to, soft non-ferrous metals: 9600 RPM
  • RPM to, thermoplastics, fibre-reinforced plastics (GRP/CRP) with a fibre content under 40 %: 9600 RPM
  • Cut: 1
  • Dia. external, metric: 10 mm
  • Dia. shank, metric: 6 mm
  • Angle: 28 °
  • Length, cut: 20 mm
  • Length, total: 60 mm

Advantage:

  • Highly aggressive.
  • Can be used at low rotational speeds.
  • Very robust tooth cutting edges due to the toughness of the high-speed steel (HSS).
  • The highly accurate concentricity enables impactfree working without creating chatter marks. This considerably reduces wear on the tool and tool drive.

Application:

  • Recommendations for use: Use HSS rotary cutters if your drive unit does not allow for high rotational speeds. When used on soft materials, HSS rotary cutters can be an economical alternative to tungsten carbide burrs. In contrast to tungsten carbide burrs, HSS rotary cutters need to be used with lower rotational speeds. If the smallest area of the burr diameter is being used, the recommended rotational speed can be increased accordingly.
  • Applications: Cutting out holes; Deburring; Leveling; Milling; Milling out; Work on weld seams
  • Drive types: Flexible shaft drive; Tool machine; Robot; Stationary machines; Straight grinder
