Description

Description:

For light deburring, cleaning of holes and cross holes and for work on surfaces. Brushes with aluminium oxide (AO) are less sharp-edged and aggressive compared with SiC. They are primarily suitable for polishing and smoothing finishes on soft metals. Plastic filament withstands temperatures up to 220 °C.

Feature:

  • RPM, max.: 1000 RPM
  • Width, metric: 12 mm
  • Mounting system: Shank
  • Dia. filament material: 0.2 mm
  • Dia. external, metric: 0.7 mm
  • Dia. shank, metric: 0.4 mm
  • Filament material: Aluminium oxide (AO)
  • Grit size: 2000
  • Length, total: 100 mm

Advantage:

  • Enable maximum precision and efficiency in work on delicate workpieces.
  • Highly flexible, enabling optimal adjustment to the workpiece contour.
  • The dimensional accuracy of the workpieces remains unchanged.
  • With tube brushes with a short eyelet, the filament reaches up to the tip of the brush.
  • The bent end of the wire does not have any sharp edges, which prevents delicate surfaces from getting scratched.

Application:

  • Recommendations for use: Use coolant for applications where large amounts of heat are produced. Please observe the recommended rotational speeds. Use with clockwise rotation.
  • Applications: Cleaning; Deburring
  • Drive types: Flexible shaft drive; Manual application; Power drill

Material:

  • Materials that can be worked:
    • Aluminium
    • Bronze
    • Cast iron
    • Cast steel
    • Cobalt-based alloys
    • Other non-ferrous metals
    • Steel, cast steel
    • Steel materials with a hardness > 54 HRC
    • Steels up to 1,200 N/mm² (< 38 HRC)
    • Materials that can be worked: Aluminium; Bronze; Cast iron; Cast steel; Cobalt-based alloys; Other non-ferrous metals; Steel, cast steel; Steel materials with a hardness > 54 HRC; Steels up to 1,200 N/mm² (< 38 HRC)

Note:

  • For safe use, guide the brush into the workpiece before commencing any work.
  • When clamping the brush, ensure that the shank is clamped as far into the arbor as possible. This applies in particular for use in the high rotational speed range. The minimum clamping length is 10 mm.
