    Description

    Description:

The TITANIUM cut has been especially developed for work on hard titanium materials (tensile strength > 500 N/mm²). It is characterized by an extremely high stock removal rate on this material group, which has very challenging stock removal properties. Tungsten carbide burrs with the TITANIUM cut impress with their smooth milling with considerably reduced vibration and less noise. Ball-shaped burr according to DIN 8032.

    Feature:

    • RPM from, hard non-ferrous metals: 13000 RPM
    • RPM to, hard non-ferrous metals: 24000 RPM
    • Cut: TITANIUM
    • Dia. external, metric: 6 mm
    • Dia. shank, metric: 6 mm
    • Length, cut: 5 mm
    • Length, total: 45 mm

    Advantage:

    • Excellent stock removal rate and tool life due to innovative tooth geometry.
    • Tangibly more aggressive, large chips and very good chip removal.
    • Comfortable working with reduced vibration and less noise.
    • The highly accurate concentricity enables impactfree working without creating chatter marks. This considerably reduces wear on the tool and tool drive.

    Application:

    • Recommendations for use: Determine the rotational speed in each case depending on the titanium alloy you need to machine. Reduce the rotational speed if excessive flying sparks occur. Depending on the titanium alloy you are machining, flying sparks may not be entirely avoidable. To prevent vibrations, place the tools on powerful drives with an elastically supported spindle wherever possible. Observe the recommended rotational speeds. To ensure costeffective use of burrs, use a higher rotational speed and cutting speed. Use burrs with a shank diameter of 6 mm with drives with a power output from 300 watts.
    • Applications: Cutting out holes; Deburring; Leveling; Milling; Milling out; Surface work; Work on weld seams
    • Drive types: Flexible shaft drive; Tool machine; Robot; Stationary machines; Straight grinder

    Material:

    • Materials that can be worked:
      • Hard non-ferrous metal
      • Titanium
      • Titanium alloys
      • Materials that can be worked: Hard non-ferrous metal; Titanium; Titanium alloys

    Note:

    • The very high stock removal rate can cause discolouration on the shank. This does not constitute a safety risk.
