Description:
Suitable for light brushing such as deburring, cleaning and polishing. PFERD offers a wide range of miniature brushes for precision work. These can be used on flexible shaft drives, micro motors or electric grinders. Brushes with nylon filament material are particularly well suited to working with materials that would otherwise be scratched or damaged, e.g. soft plastics. Plastic filament withstands temperatures up to 220 °C.
Feature:
- RPM, max.: 25000 RPM
- RPM, optimum, from: 1200 RPM
- RPM, optimum, to: 5000 RPM
- Mounting system: Shank
- Dia. cup: 5 mm
- Dia. filament material: 0.2 mm
- Dia. external, metric: 5 mm
- Dia. shank, metric: 3 mm
- Filament material: Nylon
- Length, filament: 8 mm
- Length, total: 45 mm
Advantage:
- Maximum precision and efficiency in work on delicate workpieces.
- Optimal access to hard-to-reach areas such as drilled holes and cavities as the filament spreads out upon rotation.
Application:
- Recommendations for use: Please observe the recommended rotational speeds. Use coolant for applications where large amounts of heat are produced.
- Applications: Cleaning; Deburring
- Drive types: Flexible shaft drive; Straight grinder
Material:
- Materials that can be worked:
- Thermosetting plastics
- Other non-ferrous metals
- Thermoplastics
- Materials that can be worked: Thermosetting plastics; Other non-ferrous metals; Thermoplastics
Note:
- When clamping the brush, ensure that the shank is clamped as far into the arbor as possible. This applies in particular for use in the high rotational speed range. The minimum clamping length is 10 mm.
