    Description

    Description:

Tungsten carbide burrs with the MICRO cut are specifically designed for finishing and are used in areas in which mounted grinding points are used for example. They offer a higher stock removal rate and produce a high surface quality, particularly compared with conventionally milled surfaces. They also operate with low vibration and little noise. They maintain their geometry over their entire tool life, and are well-suited to manual and machine applications. Almost all materials up to a hardness of 68 HRC can be machined. Pointed tree-shaped burr according to DIN 8032, flattened tip.

    Feature:

    • RPM from, grey cast iron, white cast iron: 24000 RPM
    • RPM from, hardened, heat-treated steels over 1,200 N/mm²: 18000 RPM
    • RPM from, hard non-ferrous metals: 18000 RPM
    • RPM from, high-temperature-resistant materials: 18000 RPM
    • RPM from, rust and acid-resistant steels: 18000 RPM
    • RPM from, steels up to 1,200 N/mm²: 24000 RPM
    • RPM to, grey cast iron, white cast iron: 30000 RPM
    • RPM to, hardened, heat-treated steels over 1,200 N/mm²: 24000 RPM
    • RPM to, hard non-ferrous metals: 24000 RPM
    • RPM to, high-temperature-resistant materials: 24000 RPM
    • RPM to, rust and acid-resistant steels: 24000 RPM
    • RPM to, steels up to 1,200 N/mm²: 30000 RPM
    • Cut: MICRO
    • Dia. external, metric: 8 mm
    • Dia. shank, metric: 6 mm
    • Length, cut: 20 mm
    • Length, total: 60 mm

    Advantage:

    • High surface quality.
    • Unlike with mounted grinding points, there is no change in geometry due to wear and tear.
    • Use on almost all materials up to 68 HRC.
    • The highly accurate concentricity enables impactfree working without creating chatter marks. This considerably reduces wear on the tool and tool drive.

    Application:

    • Recommendations for use: Particularly well suited to finishing, for very fine cleaning work, corrections in tool and mould construction or for sharpening cutting tools. To prevent vibrations, place the tools on powerful drives with an elastically supported spindle wherever possible. Observe the recommended rotational speeds. If the smallest area of the burr diameter is being used, the recommended rotational speed can be increased accordingly. To ensure costeffective use of burrs, use a higher rotational speed and cutting speed. Use burrs with a shank diameter of 6 mm with drives with a power output from 300 watts.
    • Applications: Cutting out holes; Deburring; Leveling; Milling; Milling out; Surface work; Work on weld seams
    • Drive types: Flexible shaft drive; Tool machine; Robot; Stationary machines; Straight grinder
