    Description

    Description:

PFERD has further developed the ALU cut especially for stock removal on aluminium. This cut is characterized by its high stock removal rate. Pointed tree-shaped burr according to DIN 8032, flattened tip.

    Feature:

    • RPM from, hard non-ferrous metals: 64000 RPM
    • RPM from, soft non-ferrous metals: 64000 RPM
    • RPM from, thermoplastics, fibre-reinforced plastics (GRP/CRP): 64000 RPM
    • RPM to, hard non-ferrous metals: 117000 RPM
    • RPM to, soft non-ferrous metals: 117000 RPM
    • RPM to, thermoplastics, fibre-reinforced plastics (GRP/CRP): 117000 RPM
    • Cut: ALU
    • Dia. external, metric: 3 mm
    • Dia. shank, metric: 3 mm
    • Length, cut: 13 mm
    • Length, total: 43 mm

    Advantage:

    • Extremely high stock removal rate.
    • Large chips.
    • Reduced material adhesion.
    • Long tool life and smooth running.
    • Can be used with cutting speeds of up to 1,100 m/min.

    Application:

    • Recommendations for use: To prevent vibrations, place the tools on powerful drives with an elastically supported spindle wherever possible. Observe the recommended rotational speeds. If the smallest area of the burr diameter is being used, the recommended rotational speed can be increased accordingly. To ensure costeffective use of burrs, use a higher rotational speed and cutting speed. Use burrs with a shank diameter of 3 mm with drives with a power output of 75 to 300 watts.
    • Applications: Cutting out holes; Deburring; Leveling; Milling; Milling out; Surface work; Work on weld seams
    • Drive types: Flexible shaft drive; Tool machine; Robot; Stationary machines; Straight grinder
