Description:
POLINOX unmounted grinding wheels consist of non-woven polyamide abrasive, into which abrasive grain is integrated. The non-woven abrasive material is arranged in multiple radial flaps, with abrasive cloth interlayers. The flap structure facilitates improved stock removal and achieves a coarser surface finish. The tool is designed for working on medium-sized surfaces with speed-adjustable angle grinders and fillet weld grinders, and can be mounted directly onto the drive system's spindle without the need for additional clamping devices. This tool is mainly used for work on large surfaces.
Feature:
- RPM, max.: 6000 RPM
- RPM, optimum: 3000 RPM
- Width, metric: 50 mm
- Dia. hole: 0 mm
- Abrasive: Aluminium oxide A
- Dia. external, metric: 100 mm
- Dia. thread: M14
- Grit size: 100
Advantage:
- Highly flexible, enabling optimal adjustment to the contour.
- Cool grinding and low thermal load on the workpiece.
- The open structure and high flexibility of the non-woven material prevents tool clogging.
Application:
- Recommendations for use: For the best results, use at a recommended cutting speed of 10-20 m/s. This provides an ideal compromise between stock removal rate, surface quality, thermal load on the workpiece and tool wear.
- Applications: Cleaning; Deburring; Step-by-step fine grinding; Roughening; Structuring (matt finishing, brush matting and satin finishing); Surface work
- Drive types: Angle grinder; Cordless angle grinder
