Description:
POLINOX unmounted grinding wheels consist of non-woven polyamide abrasive, into which abrasive grain is integrated. The non-woven abrasive flaps are arranged radially. A long tool life is achieved through the dense packing of the flaps. The tool is designed for working on medium-sized surfaces with speed-adjustable angle grinders and fillet weld grinders, and can be mounted directly onto the drive system's spindle without the need for additional clamping devices.
Feature:
- RPM, max.: 6000 RPM
- RPM, optimum: 3000 RPM
- Width, metric: 50 mm
- Dia. hole: 0 mm
- Abrasive: Aluminium oxide A
- Dia. external, metric: 100 mm
- Dia. thread: 5/8-11
- Grit size: 280
Advantage:
- Highly flexible, enabling optimal adjustment to the contour.
- Cool grinding and low thermal load on the workpiece.
- The open structure and high flexibility of the non-woven material prevents tool clogging.
Application:
- Recommendations for use: For the best results, use at a recommended cutting speed of 10-20 m/s. This provides an ideal compromise between stock removal rate, surface quality, thermal load on the workpiece and tool wear.
- Applications: Cleaning; Deburring; Step-by-step fine grinding; Roughening; Structuring (matt finishing, brush matting and satin finishing); Surface work
- Drive types: Angle grinder; Cordless angle grinder
