Intended use- If protection against high-speed particles is required at extreme temperatures, make sure that the safety goggles are marked with the letter T directly after the letter for impact intensity, i.e. FT, BT or AT. If the letter for impact intensity does not follow letter T, use safety goggles against high-speed particles only at room temperature.
- Projects eyes against medium energy impacts by particles at speeds up to 120 m/s.
- Protect eyes against hazardous UV/IR radiation.
- Protect filters against contact with liquids or dirt.
- Do not make any unauthorised modifications.
- Replace only the parts that are described in this instruction manual.
- Select the delay time, sensitivity, and darkness level for the respective application before use.
- Check the fit of the welder’s mask before each use and adjust it to the shape of your head.
Reasonably foreseeable misuse- Do not use for laser welding or oxyacetylene welding/cutting processes.
- Never place the welder’s mask on a hot surface.
- Never open the auto-darkening filter or tamper with it.
- The welder’s mask does not offer protection against impact hazards.
- Eye protection equipment for protection against particles travelling at high speeds can transmit impacts when struck. This is a hazard for users wearing such eye protection over conventional prescription glasses.
- A welder’s mask does not offer protection against explosive substances or corrosive liquids.
- Do not immerse the filter in water.
- Do not apply solvents to the filter or to the protective mask body.
