The impressive GARANT ST2 boasts smart features and is simple to use, even for people who aren’t used to working with measurement technology. It provides a simple, portable means of recording roughness values in manufacturing and quality control, transferring the readings via Bluetooth and documenting them reliably. With some 31 parameters, the GARANT ST2 provides a wide range of features, whilst the removable feed unit makes it a versatile tool. Once the measurement is complete, profiles and results can be printed out directly via Bluetooth using the mobile printer.

Simple and intuitive to use

Even people who aren’t used to working with measurement technology can obtain reliable results, thanks to features including the automatic cut-off selection, information on roughness values shown directly on the device, pre-set measuring programs and ability to save favourites on the display.

Large, illuminated and rotating 4.3-inch TFT touch display. User can switch between the bright and dark view (dark/light mode) depending on how much light there is.

Create measurement reports easily on the go

Combine multiple individual measurements (for example, for a series) using the HCT mobile app. Easily add a photo (e.g. a component or measurement set-up) and make individual comments on the report.

Easily transfer measurements via Bluetooth. Compatible with the free HCT mobile app (optional). Can also be used via the HID (Human Interface Device).

Print your results directly

Document the results via Bluetooth or a cable connection using the optional thermal printer for printouts of the profile and results.

Ready for the new profile standard DIN EN ISO 21920: The new profile standard DIN EN ISO 21920 has recently been published. It offers designers enhanced options to provide function descriptions, e.g. for additive manufacturing. Definitions have also been made more precise, clearing up uncertainty. With the GARANT ST2, you are future-proofing yourself when it comes to this standard. For example, a free update will be released in 2024, which will allow you to use the roughness measuring instrument in compliance with the new standard as well. Once you have this update, you can choose between the old and new standard in the instrument. Information on the new profile standard DIN EN ISO 2120 is supplied with the GARANT ST2.
