Description

Version:

  • High-precision solid carbide tip. Close-fitting carbide design for optimum stability and freedom from breakage, no additional safety equipment required.
  • Tip angle 60°.
  • High surface quality on the shank for optimum fit.
  • Complete tool hardened and ground.

Description:

Lathe centres are mainly used on lathes to support long and slim workpieces, since with these workpieces there would otherwise be a risk of the workpiece bending or moving around as a result of the forces generated.
The lathe centre is secured with a Morse taper. The workpiece is clamped in the chuck and a counterbore is added using a centre drill. After re-clamping, the lathe centre is then inserted.

Application:

For grinding high-precision components.

Optional extras:

Draw-off nut No. 323230.

Note:

Order the draw-off nut separately. Geometric dimensions to DIN 806 E.
