HOLEX-Frässtifte werden aus Hochleistungs-Hartmetallsorten mit hoher Zähigkeit und höchster Schneidkantenstabilität ausschließlich auf modernsten CNC-Maschinen hergestellt. Der Schaft besteht aus Stahl, wenn der Kopfdurchmesser größer Schaftdurchmesser ist, ansonsten ebenfalls aus Hartmetall.
