Disassemble tool assemblies

Once tool assemblies have been added to your inventory, they can no longer be deleted from the tool list within Connected Manufacturing. To “delete” them you have to disassemble them into their components. If tools become worn out or break, they can be disassembled and re-assembled (digitally).Here you can either disassemble the tool completely, or just replace the blade.

• Go to Tools
• Select a Tool assemblies
• Press the three-dot icon on the right-hand side next to the tool
• If you want to completely disassemble the tool assemblies, select Disassemble
• The window Disassemble tool instance will open now
• Select to which storage location you want to bring the components to
• Hit Disassemble
• The Complete Tool is now no longer in your Inventory
