Create new complete tool

Imported complete tool types in Connected Manufacturing can be assembled from components to a complete tool via the software. Each tool that’s in the production facility or gets physically assembled, has to be digitally assembled within the software as well.

• Go to Tools
• Select the Complete Tool Type that you want to physically assemble
• Click the button + Assemble new
• The window Assemble new instance will open now
• Scan the Tool ID (RFID Chip)
• You can use this chance to already link to new tool to a storage location. To do this, simply scan the RFID tag at the storage location (Location ID)
• Select the components from your inventory
• Hit the Done button
• You now have a complete tool within your inventory with the status TO MEASURE
