Enter accessories as inventory and link them to storage locations

If an Accessory Category has been created in Connected Manufacturing you have created a accessory type within, you can now fill this type with Items. These items can be tagged with an RFID Tag or a QR Code, and you can assign a storage location to them.

• Go to Accessories
• Choose an accessory category
• If an accessory type has already been created within the category, open it
• By hitting the button + Create New, the window Create New Accessory will open
• Scan the RFID Tag or QR code that has been placed on the accessory
• Scan the storage location ID or choose the storage location from the drop-down menu
• Optionally, you can add a note in this window
• Hit the Create button
• By doing so, you can now see the newly created Item within the inventory, its ID, storage location, and the note (if added)
