Description:
With drive spindle extensions, shanks of grinding and milling tools can be extended. They allow access to difficult-to-reach areas and particularly deep cores. They are clamped into the collet of the machine (air or electric grinder) or into the flexible shaft handpiece. They must also be guided by hand. Advantage:
- Cost-effective alternative to customized burrs and mounted points with long shanks.
Supplied with:
- Special lengths are available on request.
Note:
- The maximum permitted rotational speed is 25,000 RPM.
- Caution! When using spindle extensions, please observe the valid safety regulations and accident prevention regulations. Please do not clamp tools which are too large on the extension since they are driven by a core. The extension and machine must be guided in a line. Levering and tilting result in damage to the extension.
- When working with long shank lengths, it is essential that the tool is inserted into the workpiece (e.g. bores, pipes, ducts or keyways) before the drive system is switched on. The extension is only intended for manual use in connection with suitable air grinders, electric grinders or flexible shaft handpieces for tools with standard shanks. The extension and a tool permitted for use at the appropriate rotational speed are clamped into an impact-free collet on the device. Do not clamp on the transition radius. Clamping of a second extension or of tools with excessively long shanks is not permitted.
